Singapore’s illustrators draw out their tributes to the Founding Father
A local website bearing drawings of Mr Lee Kuan Yew has sprouted up as a tribute to him. This website is a collaborative initiative between the folks at the Organisation of Illustrators Council and Goodstuph. The images are free for personal and non-commercial use, so you can share them as you like on social media!
The eyes are tired, but the rolled-up shirt sleeves are an accurate depiction of how Mr Lee Kuan Yew believed in the concept of getting his own hands dirty and being personally involved in Singapore’s affairs till his last breath.
We would like to think that even as Mr Lee Kuan Yew now resides in the blackness of death, his eyes and spirit will always be fixed unto the red of Singapore and watching over us.
