Dead Body At Bendeemer
A dead body was found at the foot of an HDB block in Bendeemer Road on Monday (Feb 13).
According to eyewitnesses at the scene, the body, which was of an adult woman was found at the foot of Block 39A, Bendeemer Road at 4 plus in the afternoon.
When MustShareNews got down to the scene, a blue tent could be seen covering the body, and gloved police officers were at the scene.
Resident Ng Ya Kam, 64, who lives in nearby Block 38D, told us that she caught a glimpse as a police officer opened the tent, and saw that the dead woman was wearing a red dress.
Another resident, Madam Wong, 62, who lives in Block 39A — where the dead woman lives, said she heard a loud sound, and thought someone had thrown rubbish out of the windows.
They guessed that the woman was around her 30s.
Later, the police were seen bringing a chair downstairs and placing on the grass verge near the blue tent that housed the body.

Another resident, Ms Liu Kaiying, who has lived at Block 38B for 5 years, said that there have been 3 deaths in the area in the last year, and 4 in the last 5 years.
Before the death on Monday, the most recent one was in November last year, when the body of a 60-year-old woman was found floating in the Kalling River opposite Block 38A, reported The Straits Times.
