Gain City Is Giving Out Free Surgical Masks & Baked Cookies Till 16 Feb
Community efforts to prevent Covid-19 show that we can overcome this epidemic together.
To support those in need, Gain City is offering free surgical masks from Saturday (15 Feb) to Sunday (16 Feb).
If your family unit is registered as New Homeowner Group Buy customers, then you can avail of up to 4 free surgical masks.
Healthcare workers can also receive 1,000 packets of cookies and drinks brewed by Hock Hua on Saturday (15 Feb).
Free surgical masks from Gain CIty
A massive batch of 15,000 surgical masks recently arrived in Gain City Megastore at Sungei Kadut.
A pack of 4 surgical masks was also distributed to each family registered as New Homeowner Group Buy customers.
Staff voluntarily used their after-hours to place masks inside the zip lock bags. The company hopes that these efforts show that #togetherwecanovercome Covid-19.
Healthcare workers get baked cookies & drinks
On Saturday (15 Feb), Yew Tee Grassroots Organisations will also come together to thank doctors, nurses, and paramedics who are leading the fight against Covid-19.
They successfully distributed 1,000 packets of baked cookies and drinks brewed by Hock Hua.
Students from Yew Tee Primary and local residents contributed to the cause by writing messages in honour of our local heroes.
Calling for donations
Yew Tee Community Club is also seeking donations to help support heroic healthcare workers.
They are seeking the following items:
- Polo/Lifesaver Sweets or equivalent
- 3-in-1 Coffee and/or tea bags
- Small tins of malt drinks (eg. Milo, Horlicks, Ovaltine)
- Energy Bars and/or healthy snacks (halal certified)
- Medicated Oil
- BandAid
- Paper Bags
- Anything else you may wish to contribute
