Have a party on ice with alcohol and actual DJs at The Rink, the ice-skating rink at JCube
Had enough of flashy clubs filled with young girls in frilly dresses and giant vodka bottles topped with excessively pollutive sparklers?
Looking for a new place to go party now that Butter Factory is no more and KU DE TA chose to CE LA VI?
JCube’s got a ~cool~ idea.
Sure, JCube might be located at the far-flung West, but the mall located right beside that perpetually unlucky mall in Jurong is planning to host a party on top of their ice-skating rink, creatively named The Rink.
Sub Zero: Party on Ice will take place daily over the National Day mega-long weekend — 7 to 9 August — from 9.45 pm to 2.45 am.
The Olympic-sized rink will play host to a bright neon paint, snowfall, and a host of DJs including:
DJ Andrew T,
and DJ Inquisitive.
There will be alcohol
Of course there’ll be alcohol. What’s a party without alcohol?
Besides, with the party taking place effectively on a giant ice cube, the drinks will (probably) be cold for longer than usual.
Party-goers will also presumably have to pull on skates to traverse the slippery surface of The Rink.
The gravitically-challenged among us can’t wait to try ice-skating while partying.
Sub Zero: Party on Ice takes place at The Rink on 7 to 9 August 2015 from 9.45 pm to 2.45 am. Tickets are available at the door or advanced purchase at The Rink, JCube. Early bird tickets go at $25 till 31 July and regular tickets are priced at $28, with 2 complimentary drinks and unlimited ice-skating.
Admission is only for individuals aged 18 and above.
