PM Goes Kai Kai
So you’re chilling out with your family at a chalet when Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong happens to walk over. What do you do?
If you are Twitter user nad (@heeavygloom), you go absolutely bonkers and then take a group photo with him.
Going Bonkers
In an adorable video posted on Twitter on Monday (Jan 2), nad can be heard excitedly going, “What is going on? Oh, my god. Oh, my god. What is happening?” as the PM walks over towards her.

She also posted a photo of her and her family with Mr Lee.
nad also posted that Mr Lee came over after her aunt called out to him.
Stroll On The Beach
In a message on his Facebook page on Wednesday (Jan 4), Mr Lee spoke about his recent stroll on Changi Beach over the New Year weekend (perhaps on the same day he visited nad?).
He posted a photo of a man who looked like a foreign worker sitting alone under a tree with his cellphone, and urged us to spare a thought for the foreign workers who do so much for Singapore.
Mr Lee reminded us of all that foreign workers do, including building our flats, cleaning and taking care of our loved ones – all to provide for their own loved ones who are far away.

Happy New Year, Dear PM
Have a Happy New Year PM Lee, and here’s to more impromptu visits and many more New Years to come! Meanwhile, we are staking out Changi Beach.
