SCDF is using Facebook to track down over 30 men to award their brave actions

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) is currently looking for over 30 men who rescued an accident victim stuck under the truck on Wednesday (24 July). And they are using their Facebook page to find the good samaritans to reward their actions.

Apparently, you don’t need to have super strength or speed to be a superhero after all. It looks like we have our own Justice League here in Singapore.

Acccording to The Straits Times, the SCDF wanted to award our Justice League with The SCDF Public Spiritedness Award. The award is to acknowledge brave individuals for showing their bravery in fighting super villains saving the man’s life. So far, only some have revealed their secret identity to the SCDF.

What happened?

An accident happened on Boon Keng Road around 11.45 am on Wednesday (22 July) when a victim got stuck underneath a truck. Our Justice League quickly got into action by lifting the heavy vehicle to bring the casualty to safety. Suan Wang managed to video the entire incident and uploaded it on Facebook which got viral with over 295,000 views and more than 5,000 shares that day.

SCDF later arrived on scene to rushed the victim, a 35-year-old South Korean man, to Tan Tock Seng Hospital immediately. He got away with fractured leg and went for operation the same night.

Unmask yourself, Justice League

It seems that our Justice League wasn’t aware that there was someone recording them saving the day. Even Batman can’t erase the evidence with his high-technology equipment since the authorities have already found out. What they can do now is to come forward to the SCDF to receive their rewards — be it in their constumes or not.

thank youSource
