Scissors Paper Stone Experts, It’s Time To Show Off Your Skills At This Islandwide Inter-Neighbourhood Competition

Scissors, Paper, Stone

Scissors, paper, stone! Scissors, paper, stone! Scissors, paper, stone, stone, stone!

It’s safe to say most of us have squawked our throats dry as a kid, shouting the same phrase over and over again, while challenging someone to a nerve-racking, spine-tingling and palm-sweat inducing game of Scissors, Paper, Stone.

Whether you’re a genius mathematician who can expertly calculate the probability of winning a Scissors, Paper, Stone game, a psychic who can read your opponent’s mind or an ordinary folk like myself,  you can put your skills to the test at Singapore’s first-ever National Inter-Hood Scissors, Paper, Stone! Competition.

Inter-Hood Scissors, Paper, Stone! 2017

Organised by HoodChampions, and initiated by the Singapore Kindness Movement, the event aims to foster community bonding via the battle of neighbourhood supremacy.

While not quite a life-and-death affair, the Japanese have still managed to take Scissors, Paper, Stone gaming to the next level.

Now that’s intense.

And the stakes are unusually high this time too. It’s not about who gets the last slice of pizza or the highly coveted window seat on the aeroplane anymore.

The winners and runner-up will walk away with a whopping $300 and $150 worth of shopping vouchers respectively, and points for their hoods. Are you pumped up yet?
