Employees in Singapore aren’t likely to get a raise this year, Today has reported, citing an annual survey by recruitment firm Robert Walters.

However, there are exceptions for people in IT (information technology) and digital marketing sectors. They can expect a 10% to 20% wage increment upon switching jobs.

Optimistic Forecasts

Today also said that Robert Walters’ survey results differed from Korn Ferry Hay Group, that showed an optimistic forecast of 4.7% growth in wages this year.

Will Towers Watson sang the same tune, predicting a 3.2% increase in real wages this year.
