Following the record-breaking HDB resales in Punggol and Clementi, this week saw HDB resale flats in Ang Mo Kio and Bukit Batok setting resale records in both estates.
Property website 99.c0 reported that an Executive Apartment in Ang Mo Kio was sold for a staggering S$1.3 million, setting an all-time high (ATH) for the housing estate.
Similarly, a five-room HDB flat in Bukit Batok changed hands for S$1 million — the first million-dollar 5-room resale flat in the estate.
The standout ATH sale in Ang Mo Kio was an executive apartment in the Yio Chu Kang Green project.
HDB records show that the flat is located between the 10th and 12th floors of Block 611 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 and has 55 years left on its lease.
The unit spans 1,916 sq ft, which converts to about S$678 per sq ft.
Conveniently located with easy access to nearby MRT stations — including Lentor, Mayflower, and Yio Chu Kang — the unit is also near amenities such as malls and schools including Nanyang Polytechnic and Eunoia Junior College.
Over in the western region, Skyline I @ Bukit Batok recorded its first million-dollar resale transaction.
Located at Block 194A Bukit Batok West Avenue 6, the five-room unit sits between the 34th and 36th floor, boasting expansive views that likely enhanced its market value.
The 1,238 sq ft apartment was recently sold for S$1 million, which translates to about S$808 per sq ft.
The unit has 92 years left on its lease.
