A clip of a 12-year-old boy in Malaysia taking care of his bedridden mother in hospital has deeply moved the Internet.
The video was originally uploaded to TikTok by Asni, who happened to be a patient in the same ward as the boy’s mother.
In the clip, the 12-year-old boy, whose name is Iman, was seen tirelessly folding his mother’s clothes, changing her pillowcases, and also feeding her.
Asni noted that Iman is an only child. Meanwhile, the bedridden woman is understood to be a single mum, making Iman her sole caretaker.

“The whole time I’ve been here, he has been the only one taking care of his mother who has [sic] a stroke,” Asni stated. “He doesn’t rest to ensure that his mother is always comfortable.”
The TikToker also shared that the boy has been changing his mother’s diapers all by himself, with no help from a third party.
The TikTok video has since gone viral, amassing over 3.4 million views at the time of writing. Many netizens also expressed their admiration for Iman.
One commenter said the video moved her so deeply that tears began streaming down her face without her realising it.
