You can now stand a chance at being part of BTS’ sister group.

Imagine being like a dongsaeng to them and being able to work in the same company as your oppas. How insane would that be?

The idea is not far-fetched at all now. According to CNA, Big Hit Entertainment — the company behind BTS — is looking at debuting a girl group in 2021.

Looking for future female idols

The Plus Global Audition is a joint effort between Big Hit Entertainment and Source Music. They hope to find fitting female idols for this new girl group.

The audition will be held in 16 cities around the world, one of which is Singapore.

Here’s a video Big Hit posted on Youtube as an invitation to the audition.

The auditions will be held on 12 Oct 2019, so start preparing.

If you’re interested in auditioning, the thought of competing against people from 15 other countries can be quite intimidating.

But fret not, because we are here to offer you some help.

Firstly, to give you a gist of how K-pop auditions are held, here’s a video of a K-pop trainee sharing about her audition process.

However, as her audition was not with Big Hit Entertainment, we can’t say for sure how similar the 12 Oct auditions will be compared to the video.

After getting a rough idea of how the audition will be like, you might want to start your preparation by practising some K-pop dance routines.
