An accident with a car caused a 57-year-old driver to be injured on Bukit Timah Road.
According to 8world News, Ms Cai (transliterated) witnessed the aftermath of the accident at around 6.40am on Sunday (27 Oct).
It took place near King Albert Park MRT station.
Photos she took showed a white car with its right side severely damaged and one of its doors missing.
Chunks of metal debris lay on the rightmost lane of the road near some construction roadblocks, likely where the collision had happened.
An ambulance and a tow truck also arrived behind the white car.
Ms Cai suspected that paramedics took the driver into the ambulance, as she could not spot him at the scene.
Two men could also be seen standing at some barricades, which blocked off half of the road. They appeared to be preventing other cars from hitting the debris.
The police told MS News that they were alerted to the accident at about 6.10am.
They currently believe the car self-skidded while on Bukit Timah Road, injuring the 57-year-old male driver.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) then conveyed him to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital in a conscious state.
Police investigations are ongoing.
