On 24 June, a woman in Malaysia uploaded a TikTok video showing her white car covered in poop water at The Exchange TRX in Kuala Lumpur after a toilet pipe had burst above it.
As a result, the woman along with her family demanded one year of free parking and car washes from the mall.
On 24 June, TikTok user @eyerv posted a 24-second video of her white car being soaked in sewage water that was pouring out of a broken toilet pipe above the parking lot.
The video starts with a shot of a wet parking lot and a video caption saying, “lol you think you’re having a bad day?”
The video then shows her white car getting drenched from a burst sewage pipe above it.
The OP explained that she came back from dinner at The Exchange TRX in KL to the spectacle of her car being covered in sewage water containing poop spilling from the ruptured pipe above it.
As a result, her car park reportedly smelled like faeces.
“Out of all parking spaces, of course, it had to be ours,” read the video caption.
She added in the video that she and her family had demanded one year of free parking and car washes from the mall for the incident.
The video has captured the attention of netizens, garnering over 600 comments commiserating with the OP’s situation.
One netizen commented that a new car would be a better solution.
Another netizen said that the incident made them see their bad luck as less serious compared to the OP’s experience.
One user advised against parking under black pipes in malls.
Others asked the OP to give them an update after getting a response from the mall.
