But when the fireman prepares to catch it, the cat walks away, further onto the roof.
The feline even seems to enjoy a game of hide and seek with the rescuer, running and hiding on the roof’s nooks and crannies whenever he comes close.

When the fireman finally catches it and prepares to hand it over to another rescuer, it squirms and bites the fireman’s gloved hand before unceremoniously flinging itself off the roof.

The cat’s antics amused netizens, who echoed the OP’s caption and commented “I believe I can fly”, referring to the part where the cat jumped off the roof with its limbs splayed open like wings.

However, some stated that it was unnecessary to call firefighters to rescue the cat, as they can usually come down from heights by themselves.

Some even speculated that it was the owner’s first time having a cat, which is why they called for rescue.
One commenter also expressed concern towards the firefighter, asking him to get checked for rabies as the cat may carry the virus.
