At 9.30am today (10 Apr), the tickets for what is possibly the superhero blockbuster of the year went up for sale across all cinema websites and outlets in Singapore.
We’re talking about the ultimate Marvel showdown, Avengers: Endgame.
Unfortunately, for all its hype, the cinema websites crashed just as the ticket sale went live.
Cathay’s website was dead.
GV’s website was dead.
Shaw, however, seem to have held the fort just fine. They even created a queue function to organise the online crowd.
1 minute in and there are already 1,815 people in queue. Yikes.
Chances are, the die-hard fans are already scampering down to the nearest outlet to get their tickets.
MS News wishes all Marvel fans, good luck in getting the best seats for the opening day of the movie on 24 Apr.
