NTU Students Pretend To Row Boat & Start Chainsaw According To Rhythm Of Friend’s Snoring

NTU Student’s Snoring Sparks Funny Game Of Charades Amongst His Friends

When people snore, the sound can often be a bother to others.

However, this group of friends decided to put a fun spin on the sound of their friend’s snoring.

In a TikTok video posted by @lucasczkz, we see a group of students doing a series of funny movements while their friend is slumped on his table, snoring peacefully.

The best part was their actions moved according to the rhythm of the snoring, making it seem as if they were playing a game of charades with sound effects.

Friends pretend to row boat, start chainsaw & saw chair based on friend’s snoring

The clip starts by showing one of the students sleeping on the table, as indicated by his loud snoring.

The camera then pans to two of his friends sitting in a row.

While rocking their bodies back and forth, they pretend to row a boat in sync with their friend’s snoring.

Next, one of the boys is standing up with one hand holding onto the backrest of a chair.

With his other hand, he pulls an invisible string with much force, also in sync with the snoring, as if starting a chainsaw.

The last boy acts like he is sawing through a chair, sliding the tube up and down in sync with the rhythmic snoring.

It is as though they are playing their own version of charades based on the sounds of the sleeping boy’s snoring.

Inspired by viral chainsaw snoring meme

Speaking to MS News, the OP, Lucas, shared that he and his friends were busy pushing out their finance reports for university that day.

As his friend couldn’t get a good sleep the night before due to the many assignments he had to complete, he decided to take a quick nap.

“But he ended up snoring like a nuclear reactor going into overdrive,” said Lucas.

Upon hearing loud snoring, Lucas and his friends were reminded of a meme they had chanced upon before, which showcased a group of men pretending to row a boat in sync with their friend’s snoring.

Deciding to strike while the iron was hot, Lucas and his friends took the opportunity to recreate the video and share it online.

As for his friend’s reaction, Lucas said he only got to see the video when it was up on Instagram. “I hinted at him on the video, so he already knew he was going to go viral with his snore,” Lucas laughed.

Netizens amused by their creativity

At the time of writing, the video has garnered over 170,000 views. Netizens were highly amused by their game of charades and praised the boys for their creativity.

Many TikTok users also commented that the different interpretations of their friend’s snoring “kept getting better” as the video progressed.

One even likened the friend’s snoring to that of a car engine.

While their friend had a good sleep, we’re sure they, too, had a good laugh.
