And if you think this is just an ordinary Coca Cola drink that comes with a Star Wars-themed bottle, there’s more to it than meets the eye.

Bottle lights up with a single squeeze

According to Coca Cola Singapore, these Star Wars Coca Cola bottles are the first lighted bottles in the world.

Meaning, just with a single squeeze, you’ll be able to light up the lightsabers on the bottles. Not sure about you but we’re amazed.

Because of how cool these bottles are, only 8,000 of them are available in Singapore. And the catch is, you’ll have to hunt for them.

Look for lighted Star Wars Coca-Cola bottles with Galactic Hunt

Throughout the Galactic Hunt, a total of 8,000 lighted Star Wars Coca Cola bottles will be hidden across selected 7-Eleven outlets in Singapore. The hunt will be held over these 3 weekends:

  • 6-8 Dec
  • 13-15 Dec
  • 20-22 Dec

Here’s how it works:

  • Each weekend from 12pm-8pm, these Star Wars Coca Cola bottles will be hidden in five secret 7-Eleven locations.
  • You’ll only be able to purchase the bottles with a special pass given to you by a gatekeeper stationed near the 7-Eleven store.
  • To figure out the location of each gatekeeper, you’ll have to solve a riddle posted on Coca Cola Singapore’s Facebook and Instagram. Or, you can keep a lookout on their official campaign website.
  • Upon locating the gatekeeper, the person will hand you the special pass so you can purchase the world’s first lighted Star Wars Coca Cola bottle.

You’ll even get to choose between Star Wars characters Rey or Kylo Ren. But that’s on a while-stocks-last basis.

Also, each person is only allowed to purchase 1 Star Wars Coca-Cola bottle.

All part of ‘Full Force No Sugar Campaign’

You may or may not have noticed, but only Coca-Cola ‘No Sugar’ bottles are involved in the Galactic Hunt and the contest.

This is because, the Galactic Hunt is part of Coca-Cola’s ‘Full Force No Sugar Campaign’ happening from 30 Oct-31 Dec.

According to Jedi News, this ‘no sugar’ campaign is an initiative by Coca Cola, which aims to prevent the rise of diabetes cases in Singapore.

And it’s awesome how Coca Cola came up with fun ways like the hunts and contests while advocating for a sugar-free lifestyle among Singaporeans.

Kudos to Coca-Cola!
