The vehicle was reportedly carrying four passengers — two men and two pregnant women, aged between 24 and 41 — when the collision occurred.

According to Sin Chew Daily News, one woman and two men died at the scene from severe injuries.

The sole survivor, one of the pregnant women, was rescued and immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Police investigating cause of crash

Assistant Director of the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, Ahmad Mukhris, stated that rescuers were dispatched to the scene near IOI City Mall in Putrajaya.

They managed to extricate all four passengers from the wrecked vehicle, but three of them were already confirmed dead.

The case has been handed over to the police for further investigation into the cause of the crash.
