Severe Covid-19 cases remain rather stable

Despite the recent spike in local cases, the situation in our hospitals’ ICUs remains rather stable. Only 7 patients have remained in ICUs for the past 5 days.

There also appears to be a downward trend in Covid-19 patients who require oxygen supplementation.

As of Thursday (26 Aug), 19 patients are receiving such treatment — the lowest number within this month.

Most of the above cases continue to involve patients who have yet to receive their vaccines.
