The Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed 596 new cases of Covid-19 cases on Sunday (19 Apr), bringing the total number of infected patients in the country to 6,588.

MOH further confirmed that unlinked community cases have increased — from 18 cases/day on average to 22 cases/day this week.
Today’s figure of 596 new cases is a huge drop from the record-breaking 942 cases reported yesterday (18 Apr).
The majority of these cases continue to involve Work Permit Holders residing in workers’ dormitories.
On the other hand, 25 Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are part of today’s cases, a sizable increase from the 14 announced yesterday.
