  • 22 work permit holders (outside dorms)
  • 544 work permit holders (within dorms)

MOH further confirmed that unlinked community cases have increased — from 18 cases/day on average to 22 cases/day this week.

Daily case numbers have fallen since previous day’s high

Today’s figure of 596 new cases is a huge drop from the record-breaking 942 cases reported yesterday (18 Apr).

The majority of these cases continue to involve Work Permit Holders residing in workers’ dormitories.

On the other hand, 25 Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are part of today’s cases, a sizable increase from the 14 announced yesterday.

More information on the detailed case breakdown is available here. We wish all affected patients a swift recovery.
