On Monday (4 May), the Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 573 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore. This brings the national tally to 18,778.
Of the cases, 568 involve Work Permit holders living in dormitories. They continue to form the majority of cases, accounting for 99% of the new cases reported today.
5 Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PRs) are also part of today’s new cases accounting for just 1%.
MOH will provide more information in a separate update tonight.
