Singapore Reports 788 New Covid-19 Cases On 6 May, 11 Are Singaporeans & PRs

On Wednesday (6 May), The Ministry of Health (MOH) has “preliminarily confirmed” 788 new cases of Covid-19.

This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 20,198, crossing the 20,000 mark.

The majority of today’s cases continue to involve Work Permit holders living in dormitories.

11 of today’s new cases are either Singaporeans or Permanent Residents (PRs). This accounts for just 1.40%.

MOH will be releasing more information regarding the new cases later today via a separate report.
