On Thursday (7 Nov) afternoon, football legend David Beckham was spotted inside the Rimowa store at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands (MBS).
An MS News reader shared that the football icon subsequently visited the Boss outlet in the mall.
Beckham is believed to be in Singapore to attend an unveiling event hosted by MBS. The press event was held to announce MBS’s new brand vision and campaign, “Above Beyond”.
In his capacity as Sands Global Ambassador, Beckham made a “surprise” appearance in support of the brand.
In an Instagram clip by Her World Singapore, the former footballer was seen speaking at the event. “During the fireside chat, he shared more about his deep connection with the brand and what excites him most about visiting Singapore,” the caption read.
The 49-year-old seemingly teased his visit to the Lion City in an Instagram post by MBS a few days ago.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted him commenting, “Can’t wait” with an accompanying emoji of a pair of eyes while tagging MBS’s official Instagram account.
