If you found yourself captivated by the Wing Chun senpai in the Ip Man movies, here’s some good news for you.
On 9 Dec, Donnie Yen, AKA the man who portrays martial arts hero Ip Man, will be visiting Our Tampines Hub, according to 8 Days.
His visit to Singapore is part of his promo tour for Ip Man 4: The Finale.
At the event, you can also look forward to refresh your memories of the Ip Man saga thanks to a movie marathon held in Yen’s honour.
Before Donnie Yen graces Our Tampines Hub with his presence at 7pm, previous Ip Man movies will be played on a massive display screen at the hub’s Festive Plaza.
According to Our Tampines Hub, the Ip Man movie marathon will start at 12pm. Also, Tampines residents and visitors to the hub will get to indulge in free popcorn.
In addition to promoting the new Ip Man movie, Donnie Yen will also be unveiling an Ip Man pavilion at Our Tampines Hub.

The Ip Man pavilion will be stationed at Our Tampines Hub from 9 Dec to 6 Jan.
A day later (10 Dec), Donnie Yen will also be making an appearance at Shaw Theatres Lido for the Ip Man 4 gala premiere. He is expected to be there from 8.30pm onwards.
The Ip Man 4 movie opens in cinemas on 20 Dec. So if you’d like to meet the martial arts master himself before the movie’s release, this is the chance to do so.
