On Thursday (31 Oct), a man was filmed vomiting on a Downtown Line train.
In a 74-second clip circulating on social media, an unknown liquid was seen trickling from the man’s shirt onto the seat.
The man was apparently vomiting on the train, so much so that his entire shirt was covered in his regurgitation.
The camera then panned to the cabin’s floor, where the man’s vomit was seen streaming down.
According to the train’s announcement, the incident happened as the train was arriving at Bedok Reservoir station.
In response to MS News’ queries, an SBS Transit spokesperson said they were alerted to the incident at about 3.45pm on Thursday (31 Oct).
“When the train arrived at the Expo station, our staff and cleaners boarded it and found a gentleman who required assistance,” she shared.
The representative also confirmed that the man was “safely guided” out of the train after vomiting.
SBS’ cleaning team later stayed behind to clean and disinfect the affected train.
