On Thursday (21 Nov), a blue car was spotted lying on its side on a pavement in Yishun.
However, police officers could not find the car’s driver when they arrived at the scene of the Yishun accident.
Photos showing the aftermath of the accident have been circulating on social media.
The front of the car appeared crushed from the impact of the accident.
At least three police officers were seen at the scene of the accident.
In response to MS News‘ queries, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) confirmed they were alerted to the accident, which occurred at the junction of Yishun Central 2 and Yishun Central at about 8.30am.
Upon arriving at the scene, the car driver was “no longer at scene”.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was also alerted to the incident. However, their assistance was not required.
Police investigations are ongoing.
