A father in Malaysia showed parental devotion by braving floodwaters to buy milk and diapers for his son at home.
On Friday (29 Nov), TikTok user @missha1 shared a video of a man wading through waist-height floodwaters amid heavy rainfall.
“Papa crossed chest-deep floodwaters to get milk for our son at home. All the stores were closed, and we had run out of milk and diapers,” reads the video caption.
Some netizens praised the father for his dedication while others expressed concern for his safety.
One netizen pointed out that the man’s actions showed how much a father is willing to sacrifice for his children.
Another user shared that floods are among the greatest fears for parents with young children as they worry about running out of essential supplies like milk and diapers. She added that stocking up in advance is challenging for many families who live from paycheck to paycheck.
This netizen urged flood victims to avoid risking their safety and suggested contacting the authorities for help instead of putting themselves in danger.
