Social media can be a force for crowdsourcing information that can assist with police investigations, especially for incidents on the road.
A Ferrari car owner is seeking witnesses for a hit and run at a Joo Chiat carpark on Sunday (11 Apr) night.

Ms Teo posted on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook group in hopes of finding witnesses with dashcam footage of the incident.
The Ferrari was parked at the open air carpark before Joo Chiat Place.
According to Ms Teo, the incident should have occurred between 7-11pm on Sunday night.
The impact left the Ferrari’s front bumper considerably damaged.
With no note or word left at the scene, one has to classify the case as a hit and run.
Given the car is a luxury model, there’s considerable attention on Facebook — and not all of it was welcome.
Some asked as to why the car owner didn’t install a camera, but as someone noted, the dashcam installed may have been unable to capture the footage.
Others were reminded of an entourage of sports cars that drove around the Fountain of Wealth on Sunday morning.
For what it’s worth, there’s no indication that this car was part of that entourage.
But thankfully, there were others who reminded of the need to be kind.

The price of the car or of the repairs appear secondary to the morality of a hit and run.
No matter the price or whether the incident was an accident, it doesn’t excuse a hit and run.
