The new year is just around the corner. Maybe you’re looking to shake up your wardrobe and style.
Takashimaya is holding a footwear and bags bazaar at Talking Hall, Basement 1. The sale slashes up to 80% off the prices of items from Dr. Martens, Herschel, Timbuk2, and many more brands.
In case you’re not familiar with some of the brands, or don’t wish to make a trip down to Takashimaya only to discover that the styles aren’t to your taste, here is a glimpse of some of them.
You’ve probably heard of this one before. First thing that springs to mind is always their signature boots.
This classic 101 Straw usually sells for $249, but at the bazaar, it’s gone down to a ridiculous $119.
2. Freewaters
The California footwear brand features beach-style slippers, sandals and shoes.
These flip flops are going for about $58 on Lazada. At the bazaar? $10.
3. Herschel Supply Co.
Here’s another brand that you’ve probably heard of — walk around any public place and you’ll be sure to see one of these. The bags are retailing below $100 at the bazaar.
According the ad, Herschel backpacks are going at just $65 — a price considered seriously cheap for such a renowned brand.
4. Native
Try not to mistake them from Crocs. But if you like Crocs, this would be a good alternative.
5. Timbuk2
Self-touted “tough-as-hell” backpacks, Timbuk2 bags have slowly been gaining popularity here. It’s hard to describe its looks exactly — it looks made for the outdoors, but at the same time, also something that could be brought into the office.
Given the ridiculous discounts on the shoes and bags, it is likely that the prettier items will be snatched up very quickly.
But you should know that the bazaar opened only yesterday (27 Dec), so there’s still time to hurry down and pick your treasures. And remember, the sale only lasts till New Year’s day.
