Two men were found dead in separate incidents on consecutive days.
The tragedies took place in Punggol and Jurong West, according to the police.
In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the first incident at about 1.30pm on Thursday (5 Dec).
A 40-year-old man was found lying motionless at Block 409B Northshore Drive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An anonymous contributor told STOMP that witnessing the incident was “traumatising”.
The eyewitness described seeing half of the man’s body on the road, while the other half lay in the playground garden, facing a childcare centre.
They added that the impact appeared to be significant, as it left a noticeable dent in the fence.
SPF received a call for assistance over the second incident at about 6.45am on Friday (6 Dec), it told MS News.
A 46-year-old man was found lying motionless at Block 690 Jurong West Central 1.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic from the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
A resident named only as Mr Chua, 30, told AsiaOne that he was rushing for an appointment at about 9.10am when he spotted a police car and crime scene investigation van at the block.
He also shared a photo that showed a body covered with a white sheet lying at the foot of Block 690.
No ambulance was at the scene yet.
The police has classified the Punggol incident as one of unnatural death.
However, no foul play is suspected in both cases, based on preliminary investigations.
Further police investigations into both cases are ongoing.
