With the sweltering hot weather lately, Singaporeans are literally dying for a cold refreshing cup of ice cream.
But do you know what beats having ice cream? Not paying a cent for it of course!
Recently, McDonald’s Malaysia introduced an awesome promotion where customers can grab a free chocolate sundae with any purchase by just smiling, from now till 18 May.
This is a collaboration between McDonald’s and Malaysian telco Hotlink and will is valid at 4 selected McDonald’s outlets across the country.
The steps to redeeming the free chocolate sundae are pretty simple.
Head on down to any one of the participating outlets in Malaysia and locate the smile machine.
Next, snap a picture of yourself smiling using the machine and key in your email address.
You’ll then receive a reward voucher which can be used to redeem your complimentary sundae.
You’ll have to purchase something else from McDonald’s in order to redeem the free sundae, but hey, if you’re already in the outlet, chances are you’ll probably not be able to tahan the aroma.
That’s not all. Those with the MyMaxis or Hotlink RED mobile app installed will receive 4 additional McNuggets, in addition to the chocolate sundae. #muchjealous
Turns out, one of the participating outlet is located in JB, and is just roughly a 10-min drive from the JB customs.
So if you’re planning to visit JB this weekend, why not drop by and grab yourself a free chocolate sundae?
Otherwise, if you’re visiting other parts of Malaysia, check out the full list of participating outlets here!
If you’re feeling jealous of McDonald’s Malaysia’s latest promotion, you’re not alone.
We’ve reached out to McDonald’s Singapore to enquire if similar promotions will ever be launched in Singapore, and will update this article with their response.
