UPDATE (1 Oct, 4.16pm): SPF has updated Twitter, saying the girls have been found.
–
When a child as young as 11 years old goes missing, it’s enough for concerned families and teachers to worry.
In this case, 2 children have gone missing at the same time and the same place. Authorities and parents are now urgently searching for the girls.
According to the Singapore Police Force, two 11-year old girls have been missing since 7am yesterday (30 Sep).
It was reported that the pair was last seen at Seletar Mall.
The girls were also reportedly wearing a white top and green checkered skirt.
Based on their uniforms, it’s most likely that they are from Fernvale Primary School. Here are the pictures of the 2 girls.
In addition to the post by the SPF, a lady mentioned that one of the missing girls was her colleague’s child on Singapore Missing People‘s Facebook page.
Another lady also shared SPF’s post on Complaint Singapore’s Facebook page, saying that “the Chinese girl is my friend’s niece”. She urged the public to keep a look out for both girls.
Both posts have garnered 327 and 260 shares respectively.
If you have any information regarding this incident, you can call 999 immediately or contact 1 of the girls’ parents here.
Otherwise, you may share this article to broaden the search for the two girls.
We hope that the girls will return home safely soon, so that their parents no longer need to worry.
