Grab rolls out miniature uniforms for food delivery riders, GrabFood bag included
Customisable plush toys are all the rage, so it’s no wonder another brand has jumped on the bandwagon.
Grab shared with MS News that it will be releasing exclusive miniature uniforms resembling the iconic outfits their delivery partners wear.
The set includes a jacket, pants and a GrabFood delivery bag.
Mini Grab uniforms come with functional details
Available only on GrabFood Gear — a platform for Grab delivery partners — each set is priced at S$29.90 and will be available from 16 Dec.
Each piece in the set features intricate details, including a functional zipper, the Singapore flag on the jacket, and adjustable straps on the squishy GrabFood bag.
Grab clarified that these uniforms are not for public sale and will only be available to delivery partners.
Fans of the plush toy Labubu, however, may be thrilled, as the outfits seem perfect for the beloved collectible — a wildly popular toy that has been causing a frenzy among collectors.
Collectors have been styling their Labubu dolls in quirky and creative outfits.
Labubu has been making waves in Singapore, with the plush dressed in temple garb during the Nine Emperor Gods Festival and even in People’s Action Party (PAP) colours, as seen in a social media post by Dr Lam Pin Min.
Though the company hasn’t officially linked its miniature uniform to Labubu, the sizing makes it a natural fit.
Limited stock available for delivery partners
Grab noted that only 50 sets will be released initially, so delivery partners keen to grab a set will have to act quickly.
The initiative was inspired by delivery riders who frequently bring plush toys on their bikes, with Grab hoping the uniforms add a playful touch and celebrate their community in a creative way.
