As two of Singapore’s biggest online food delivery platforms, GrabFood and foodpanda are often in constant competition with each other.
Every now and then, however, riders from these companies do seem to get along pretty well.
Such was the case recently when a picture of a GrabFood rider and a foodpanda rider sitting together on the same e-bike went viral.
On Tuesday (9 May), a netizen shared an image of the touching sight on the Beh Chia Lor – Singapore Road Facebook page.
In the picture, a GrabFood and foodpanda rider sit together on the same bike while waiting at a stop light.
They appear to be in a pretty cosy position, with the foodpanda rider having his arms around his companion.
The wholesome post has since gone viral, with over 400 shares on Facebook. Many users in the comments also expressed their amusement at the intimacy between the two riders.
A few were impressed by the sight, praising the two men for unabashedly showing their brotherhood.
Some even commented on how intimate their relationship seemed to be.
Indeed, the riders had not left space for anyone else to come in between them.
And of course, there were those who joked that Deliveroo was definitely needed to complete the set.
It’s not often that we see outward displays of affection between males in society.
As such, it’s refreshing that these riders were unafraid to share their bromance with the world.
Kudos to these men for looking past the rivalry between their companies, and giving the Internet something to be in awe of for the day.
