On Friday (20 Dec), a GrabFood rider was involved in a traffic accident along Gambas Ave.
Footage showing the aftermath of the accident made rounds on Facebook with netizens seeking help to get in touch with the victim’s family.
Based on pictures circulating online, the accident appears to have happened outside Northoaks Condo, located near Admiralty MRT.
In a video shared on SG Traffic United, a motorcycle with a GrabFood bag can be seen lying on the road with a trail of blood next to it.
An ominous navy tent was seen erected next to the motorbike in a separate Facebook picture — a sign that the rider has passed away.
One netizen pointed out that it’s likely that the rider collided with a “rubbish truck”.
According to Facebook users, the vehicle plate number of the motorbike involved in the accident is FBK 9500 H.
No additional information was revealed at the time of this article.
