Grab has just given its rewards programme a glow-up. What used to be GrabRewards points is now GrabCoins, a new way for users to earn and save across their favourite Grab services, from rides and meals to everyday purchases and more.
Everything you need now sits neatly within a dedicated GrabCoins page in the Grab app, where you can track how much you’ve earned, explore ongoing promotions, and see exactly how your GrabCoins add up, all in one place.
It’s a small change that makes every order, ride, or dine-out moment a little more worthwhile and turns everyday routines into opportunities to save.
For those with existing GrabRewards points, your balance will be converted to GrabCoins at a 1:1 rate. This means that if you have 50,000 GrabRewards points, they will become 50,000 GrabCoins — no complicated maths required.
GrabCoins will stay valid for six months from the month you earn them. For example, GrabCoins earned in January 2026 will expire on 31 July 2026. And if you’ve been hoarding your GrabRewards points, don’t worry: this new expiry rule only takes effect from January 2026.
GrabCoins makes saving quicker and simpler by letting you offset GrabFood and GrabMart orders with as little as 50 GrabCoins, instead of waiting to accumulate more before enjoying a discount. From your morning kopi to your late-night supper run, each meal or snack now brings instant savings.
This update, first introduced earlier this year, helps you stretch your dollar even further. You’ll also get a clear view of how much you can earn and save with every GrabFood and GrabMart checkout, so you always know the value you’re getting.
To sweeten the deal, Grab is running a series of promotions, where users can earn GrabCoins on weekday meals, no matter how they pay.
If you’re the friend or colleague who always takes charge of lunch deliveries, your effort can finally pay off. Host a Group Order on GrabFood and earn 5% back in GrabCoins on weekdays — the more hungry people you rope in, the more you can get out of that meal (for you, at least).

Ordering from GrabFood Signatures merchants also gives you 5% back in GrabCoins on weekday orders, so that midweek bubble tea from CHAGEE or delicious bites from WingStop satisfy your cravings and earn you savings for your next meal.
And if you’re looking to have a nice meal outside, chope a table with Grab Dine Out to earn 1,000 GrabCoins (about S$2) for each completed booking. This is capped at two completed bookings per day and is available for a limited time only.

Even your daily commute can earn you GrabCoins. As part of ongoing promotions, scheduling your rides with Advance Booking will earn you 5% back in GrabCoins on weekdays.

Family always on the go? You can now earn 5% back in GrabCoins on weekday rides when you book rides on their behalf through your Family Account, whether you’re taking your parents out for groceries or sending your grandparents home after a meal.
‘Pawrents’ aren’t left out either. Book a GrabPet ride and get 5% back in GrabCoins, so even your furry friend’s vet visit gets you something in return.

And for those who like a touch of comfort, GrabCar Premium rides now give you 5% back in GrabCoins on weekdays, too. From client meetings to super fancy date nights, you’re earning just by riding in style.
Do note that the 5% promos for meals and rides have limited daily redemptions, so act fast.
The GrabCoins fun doesn’t stop at food and rides. You can also earn while you shop or spend using GrabPay, PayLater by Grab, or your GXS Bank account.

Spend with GrabPay at partner merchants to get 0.3% back in GrabCoins, plus a chance to win up to 25,000 GrabCoins. If you prefer using PayLater for more flexible monthly payments, you’ll enjoy 0.5% back in GrabCoins.
GXS Bank users enjoy added benefits as well, with 0.6% back in GrabCoins on local Grab services through their GXS Savings Account and 2% back when using the GXS Debit Card on Grab services overseas. Terms and conditions and disclaimers apply.
