Missing Grandpa Last Seen In West Of Singapore

Missing family members often cause immense distress and worry. Especially when it’s your 84-year-old grandfather.

A man took to Facebook to seek help from netizens to locate his missing grandpa who was last seen on Sunday (7 Jul) in Boon Lay.

According to Mr Edward Chua, his grandfather’s EZ-Link card was last tapped out at Block 229 Jurong East Street 21 at 2.25pm.

Missing grandpa last seen in Boon Lay

Mr Chua shared that his grandfather was last seen at St Francis of Assisi taking bus 99 in Boon Lay. So, he believes his grandfather is still in the west.

When asked to make a missing person’s post to the Dementia-Friendly Singapore Facebook group, Mr Chua verified that the old man doesn’t have dementia.

He does, however, need assistance to walk.

Mr Chua added that the old man was wearing and carrying the following:

• Striped T-shirt/polo
• Umbrella as a walking stick

Tapped out at Jurong East Street 21

At 10.36am Monday (8 Jul), Mr Chua provided an update from the bus operator’s investigating officer.

His grandfather’s EZ-Link card was last detected at Jurong East Street 21. He apparently tapped out at the Block 229 bus stop at 2.25pm Sunday (7 Jul).
