Cable car rides, especially in Sentosa, are famed among tourists due to the scenic views and multiple photo opportunities they offer.
This June, Mount Faber Peak is looking to enhance the experience further with their Hello Kitty-themed cable car cabins.
The designs are in celebration of Singapore Cable Car’s 50th anniversary alongside the Hello Kitty brand.
As such, iconic photo spots will also be available at the attraction for tourists to snap Instagram-worthy pictures — such as an exclusive 2-metre-tall Hello Kitty sculpture decked out in gold.
In a press release, Mount Faber Leisure Group (MFLG) announced that from 1 June to 31 Dec, birthday-themed Hello Kitty cable car cabins will be available for rides along the Mount Faber Line from Mount Faber Peak to Sentosa.
Alongside vibrant designs of hearts and cakes, Hello Kitty enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the cabins also feature the iconic character, her friend Daniel, her sister Mimmy, and her parents.
Singapore Cable Car is additionally the only brand in Southeast Asia commemorating its 50th anniversary with Hello Kitty.
Tickets for the cable car rides are available for purchase at counters or through MFLG’s website.
It is priced at S$35 for adults and S$25 for children aged four to 12 for a round-trip on both the Mount Faber and Sentosa Line.
Children aged three and below will be able to have complimentary rides.
A S$10 upgrade will also afford visitors with unlimited rides for a day, allowing them to enjoy all five of the unique Hello Kitty Cable Car experiences.
The 2-metre-tall Hello Kitty sculpture will welcome visitors to Mount Faber Peak, providing them with ample photo opportunities before they start on their cable car trip.
Her golden dress marks the Golden Jubilee celebration for the brand and is just one of the many photo spots at the attraction.
For instance, visitors can drop by vintage cabins from the first and third generation, sporting endearing Hello Kitty designs.
Located at the boarding deck, the cabins offer the perfect chance to pose for Instagram-worthy shots, juxtaposed against Mount Faber Peak’s breathtaking hilltop views.
