The Sanrio Hello Kitty Town was built in 2012 and cost RM100 million (S$33 million). However, since it’s opening, it has seen a decline in visitors every year.

The small town is filled with many Hello Kitty-themed activities that will keep you and your kids occupied.

And if you’re going with a special someone, there are plenty of Insta-worthy spots for the 2 of you. Here are some of the attractions.

1.Hello Kitty interactive games

Become a hero and listen to Oz’s call for help. This attraction offers visitors a chance to solve puzzles in the maze of Oz alongside Hello Kitty and save the land from evil forces.

It’s nothing like a roller-coaster but you know what they say, somethings are better enjoyed slow.

3. Dream Photo Garden

Take a photo with the cute Hello Kitty Mascots in this pretty attraction. The aesthetic pink pavilion makes for a ‘pur-fect’ background.

40-minute drive from Woodlands checkpoint

The town isn’t very far away. It’s only a 40-minute drive from Woodlands Checkpoint.

The tickets go for RM95 (S$31) per person, which you can get here. If you consider yourself a true fan of the dolled-up feline, better head down before the end of the year.
