House left soaked in blood after knife attack

The helper allegedly turned violent due to overwhelming stress, attacking her 57-year-old employer and the employer’s son with a knife.

Both suffered injuries, with the son having one of his fingers severed during the struggle.

A 58-second video of the aftermath has since circulated online, with netizens calling it “horrific”.

The clip shows a Chinese man — believed to be the son — standing in the middle of the living room, drenched in blood.

He appears to press his right hand against his left, suggesting he had been slashed.

The video also shows a man barricading a door while another person, presumably the helper, is contained inside the room.

It ends with a police officer arriving and questioning the injured man, while a woman can be heard saying the helper “is still out of control”.

Police cordon home, victims hospitalised

Police later cordoned off the residence and launched an investigation.

Both victims, as well as the helper, were sent for treatment to Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital, according to the New Straits Times.
