Lovers of Swedish meatballs, you’re gonna wanna hang on tight to something for this.
IKEA Singapore has announced an insane Early Bird deal for fans of their affordable fare.
At just $30/person, you and your friend will be able to enjoy free flow meatballs, Christmas ham, marinated smoked and baked salmon.
Yes, as many of these glorious meatballs you can guzzle down without getting a bellyache. Do note that you’ll have to sign up as a pair, and one of you will have to be an IKEA Family member.
Here’s what else is in store for you, if you decide to indulge in the buffet.
Marinated Salmon is one of the main highlights from their cold dish menu. Their secret salmon sauce is literally to die for — we still can’t figure out what it’s made of.
Since plates of these typically fly off the shelves faster than IKEA staff can replenish them, definitely head straight for that if you need a quick starter.
We’d also recommend the Baked Smoked Salmon with Chive Sauce to get your money’s worth for the price of entry.
You can also expect other fish dishes like Mustard, Pickled and Dill Herring paired with Onions & Carrots. As well as Egg with Herring Roe or Seaweed Toppings, for those who aren’t so keen on fish.
What Christmas feast will be complete without Christmas Ham?
Other delectable mains for this buffet are Potato Gratin with Marinated Herring, as well as the star attraction by a mile — Swedish Meatballs & Mashed Potato.
Instead of your regular greens, expect a Swedish classic red cabbage dish. Red cabbage looks beautiful on the plate in vivid shades of maroon and are chock-full of vitamins to keep you in tip top shape this festive season.
For desserts, you can look forward to sweet treats native to Sweden, with a festive twist.
You’ll probably have to limit your children to an agreed amount of Gingerthins and Godis Krokants. But if you’re of age, just go all out. We’re not judging.
Parched from all the slices of roast ham? Check out the sodas, coffee and tea available at the self-service kiosk.
As a special Christmas treat, there’ll also be Mulled Non-Alcoholic Wine, and Raisin and Almond mix for the little ones. Let’s not forget Cheese and Rye Crispbread for light snacks in between.
Are you dying to know how to purchase buffet tickets?
