Earlier this month, Apple fanatics were buzzing when the company announced the release of the new iPhone 11.
On Thursday (19 Sep), one day ahead of the iPhone 11’s release, the Apple store in Orchard saw long queues outside its glass facade, all battling to be amongst the first to get their hands on the company’s latest smartphone.
Instagram pictures on Thursday (19 Sep) show at least 50 people queueing outside the Apple store, despite the haze and sweltering heat.
Some were well-equipped and had their umbrellas out to shield themselves from the unbearable heat.
We aren’t sure what time the queue started forming, but this photo was uploaded at around 7am on 19 Sep.
The long-awaited iPhone 11 will be available tomorrow (20 Sep) starting from S$1,149.
If you’re planning on heading down to the Orchard Apple store to get your hands on the phones, better be prepared to spend some time in the queue. All the best!
