On Monday (2 Dec) morning, two cars were involved in an accident at the junction of Jurong West Street 63 and Street 61.
The collision bore one casualty, a 50-year-old man, who was the driver of one of the cars.
Footage of the aftermath of the accident has since been uploaded onto Facebook.
In the clip, a Porsche convertible was spotted resting under a sheltered footpath where it presumably crashed into as a result of the collision.
The other car, a Mercedes, was seen in the middle of the road. The vehicle sustained extensive damage to its front, which appeared badly crushed from the impact of the accident.
Its front panel and headlights appeared to be severely damaged. Huge pieces of debris were also strewn across the road surrounding the car.
Some Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) personnel were also seen tending to the aftermath of the accident.
Additionally, an SCDF ambulance was also spotted parked at the site.
In response to MS News‘ queries, the SCDF confirmed that it was alerted to the road traffic accident at 6.40am.
Their officers assessed one person for minor injuries. However, the said person declined to be sent to the hospital.
Speaking to MS News, an SPF spokesperson also confirmed the Jurong West accident, which involved two cars.
Police investigations are ongoing.
