It’s been months, but companies are still hard at work, trying to impress bubble tea fans with different variations in which you can enjoy this cherished dessert.
Their concoctions are bold, flavourful, and at times, bewildering.
The latest food chain to hop onto this feverish bandwagon, is KFC Singapore. For they have released Brown Sugar Boba Tea Tarts, something you starry-eyed boba lovers should look out for.
KFC urges you “to add this to your list of must-tries”. If bubble tea is part of your weekly diet, perhaps this is something you can consider trying once they’re available on 10 Oct.
The tarts may look simple, but there’s a lot baking in them. After all, they’re made out of ingredients that are held in high regard by most Singaporeans:
All of these, packed in buttery, flaky pastry.
To put things simply, they’re egg tarts “given a bubble tea twist, with milk tea-infused velvety custard in pastry tart shells that’s baked till golden brown.”
Brown Sugar Boba Tea Tarts are selling at $1.80 per piece. If you’re planning to share them with friends, there’s a deal you can make use of — buy 5 pieces and get 1 tart for free.
These tarts will be sold at all KFC restaurants starting 10 Oct, except for the following outlets:
Do note that pricing may differ if you’re ordering them via KFC Delivery. Tarts are available while stocks last, so there’s no better reason to chiong for what you love.
Regardless of what health enthusiasts think, there’s no shame in enjoying your favourite dessert, in an entirely new form.
