A leopard in Thailand delighted many netizens after it was spotted wriggling around on a visitor’s pickup truck at the Safari Park Kanchanaburi, a zoo in Kanchanaburi province.
TikTok user @krutum5155 shared the 51-second video earlier this week. The clip shows the leopard lounging atop plastic boxes on the back of his white pickup truck.
The big cat is seen wriggling playfully on the plastic boxes, pulling at the elastic ropes on the back of his truck with its sharp paws.
One of the clips also shows it playing and sniffing another leopard outside the vehicle.
The OP told Thai local news site Morning News that the leopard had lingered on the truck for about 10 minutes before jumping off when it saw the zoo staff approaching.
Though initially worried it might damage the truck, he later said it caused no harm and that his family found the encounter endearing.
The video went viral quickly, with over 3.8 million views.
Many netizens flocked to the comments and jokingly told the OP to bring the big cat home on account of its cuteness.
Some TikTok users also jibed with the OP, suggesting that he should have brought the leopard inside the truck as it was dangerous for it to be sitting on the back of the truck.
One netizen commented that the animal was longing to be taken care of by the OP.
Another person mentioned that the close encounter with the leopard made the ticket price feel even more worthwhile.
