39-year-old British musician Lily Allen is the latest public figure to have revealed the lucrative nature of adult content platform OnlyFans.
She even said she has made more money from it than from her music.
The Brit made the statement in response to a user on X who disparaged her for posting feet pictures.

One of the replies, which was viewed 2.2 million times, said: “Imagine being one of the biggest pop stars/musicians in Europe and then being reduced to this.”

Lily Allen is an award-winning musician, having also been nominated for one Grammy award.
In response to the comment, she said: “Imagine being and [sic] artist and having nearly 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify but earning more money from having 1000 people subscribe to pictures of your feet. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”

Allen’s OnlyFans only costs US$10 per month for subscribers. “Just dipping my toes in,” the caption on her page says.
According to Printify, artists on Spotify can make around $0.003-$0.005 (S$0.0040-0.0066) per stream. Additionally, the record label may also take a cut of the earnings.
