On Thursday (2 May), the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page posted a video of a collision between a lorry and a truck in Woodlands.
The footage shows the lorry mounting a kerb before crashing into the stationary truck.
Netizens called out the lorry driver for their reckless endangerment to other road users.
According to SGRV, the incident occurred on Wednesday (1 May) at about 2.28pm along Woodlands Avenue 12.
The clip shows the lorry driving along the left-most lane when it suddenly mounts a kerb.

Not showing any signs of slowing down, the lorry driver then crashes into a stationary truck attempting to turn into the main road.

Rear-cam footage of the accident’s aftermath shows smoke emanating from the two vehicles, with debris scattered across the road.

A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) spokesperson told MS News that it was alerted to the accident at about 2.30pm on Wednesday.
Upon their arrival, the SCDF found a person trapped in the driver’s seat of the lorry.
The person was then rescued using hydraulic equipment.
SCDF officers conveyed two individuals to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Many Facebook users couldn’t help but speculate on how the truck driver ended up on the kerb.

Meanwhile, this netizen described the stretch of road as a dangerous “death trap” due to its layout.
Overall, most wished the truck driver involved by the accident a speedy recovery.
