Here’s some good news to chase the Monday blues away — if you have a car, that is.
ERP rates for certain roads and expressways will be lowered by $1 or 50 cents, because the June school holidays are coming soon. They do this every time the school holidays are coming up (the last time was in November 2014).
You don’t have to be a parent to be happy at this. The revised rates will apply from 30 May to 28 June 2015.
These are the roads where the fares will be lowered:
Of course, with the good news always comes the bad news, and the rates will go back to normal (or even increase *shudder*), but for the next month, enjoy your lowered ERP rates!
We eagerly await the day ERP becomes a thing of the past, but if we’re going to buy more cars, the congestion will always increase. In other words: fat hope for ERP’s demise.
As always, don’t drink and drive.
