On Monday (18 Nov), a 65-year-old man in Malaysia was crushed to death by a pickup truck while retrieving a spare tyre from his car on the Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway (LKSA).
According to Shah Alam district police, the elderly man had stopped his car by the roadside at 12.30pm after one of his tyres punctured.
The truck, which was following behind, stopped to assist the man.
While the victim was retrieving some items from his car, a shuttle bus collided with the off-road truck parked behind the victim’s car on the left side of the road, causing the truck to lurch forward and hit him, reported Free Malaysia Today.
