On New Year’s Day, a 28-year-old man was found dead near a main road in Serangoon.

On Sunday (1 Dec) afternoon, the 28-year-old man was pronounced dead along Serangoon Avenue 4.
Channel NewsAsia (CNA) reported that a police tent was spotted in Serangoon Community Park, bordered by Serangoon Avenue 4 and Boundary Road.
A police cordon was put up next to a pavement with pedestrians along the main road.
In response to MS News‘ queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they received a call for assistance around 1.40pm.
The person was later pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.
According to CNA, based on the police’s preliminary investigations, no foul play is suspected.
Further police investigations are now ongoing.
